How I can support you

My Therapeutic Approach

I work holistically, drawing from several evidence‑based approaches that support the whole person — mind, body, emotions, and the deeper parts of your experience — offering a grounded, steady presence along the way. Each modality offers something unique, and together they create a balanced, flexible way of working that meets you where you are. These approaches complement one another — creating safety, grounding, practical tools, forward movement, and deeper reflection — allowing me to tailor each session to your needs in a way that feels balanced, respectful, and meaningful.

Solution‑Focused Therapy (SFT)

SFT keeps attention on strengths, resources, and the small steps that move life forward. It’s a hopeful, action‑oriented approach that supports momentum and change.

Existential Therapy

Existential work explores deeper questions about meaning, values, identity, and the choices that shape our lives. It brings depth and reflection to the counselling process.

Person‑Centred Therapy

This is the foundation of my work. It focuses on empathy, trust, and genuine connection, creating a safe space where you can explore your experiences without judgment.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness helps bring awareness to the present moment. It can ease stress, calm the nervous system, and create space to notice thoughts and emotions with more clarity.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT offers practical tools for understanding and reshaping unhelpful thoughts and behaviours. It supports everyday coping and helps build new patterns over time.
